Hello pretties!
I had my eyes on Bobbi Brown Pink Shimmer Brick Compact right from the moment I first posted about Bobbi Brown Holiday 2015 Collection (info, photos). I knew it was going to be a limited edition release and being presented in this combination of pink shades just made me wanted more. I took advantage of my trip to London in early November when I knew most holiday 2015 collections will already be on the counter so I got it right away from Selfridges.

Bobbi Brown Pink Shimmer Brick ($47.00 / £35.00 for 10.3 g / 0.4 oz) has five shimmery strips of pink and light bronzy shades that can be used as a blush, eyeshadow or highlighter. It’s designed to give your cheeks a soft pink glow (the perfect way to warm up cheeks for winter) or highlight the skin with a “pearlescent shimmer”.
Bobbi Brown Pink Shimmer compact features superfine, light-reflecting pigments that deliver natural, lit-from-within radiance. It comes in a sleek, made-to-be-gifted compact with a Bobbi crest, silver interior and large mirror. This powder has a very soft texture with a shimmery-metallic finish.
Works well on every skin tone, especially those with fair and light complexions. I like to use it as a highlighter or gently applied as a blush for a super glowing effect when I’m aiming for a night or party makeup look. I like to swirl together all the shades and dust lightly on my cheekbones after blush.
If you are not familiar with Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Bricks, I would say they are high shimmer so if you prefer a more subtle highlighter then you should look elsewhere.
I truly like it as this compact is so versatile and can be used in so many ways. For example when I want to add highlight to my eyes, I just take the lightest shade and apply it under my browbone with a brush or my fingertips. I can also use my fingers or a fluffy brush to gently pat it on the top of my cheekbones.
I had about sever hours wear with this shade on my cheekbones and after 8 hours I noticed it started to slowly fade.
