Hey Girls!
Lately I’ve been posting a lot about MAC Venomous Villains Makeup Collection for Fall 2010 and not only preliminary information and prices but also packaging photos that I honestly don’t like because I consider them to childish. This was (probably still is, but not for me) the most desired MAC collection of the fall season but once I saw the first packaging photos I gave up. Venomous Villains looks more like a makeup collection for teenagers to me so I will just pass on this one.
Today I’ve got for you some new photos and I would really love to know what you all think about it. You don’t have to agree with me over this collection so it’s OK if you have different opinions but I would still love to read them.

I don’t really like the packaging. Looks too childish… I prefer more serious packaging from MAC, but, some products seem nice. Can’t wait for swatches!

I agree, initially the packaging might lead us to think it’s childish… but come on folks, this is DISNEY! They will limit and be very specific on how these characters can be re-worked and re-created for the use of MAC’s promotions and items… and if I were Disney I’d be VERY specific on how the characters could be re-designed because I don’t want it to affect my image I have created for years and years.
Honestly, I’m glad they reflect the characters from the movies as they do, it’s more representative of the culture of movies we watched as we grew up, and that some things, like childhood movies … NEVER age… they just get better with time!

I went to the preview party in Denver on Wed, and yes, the items are pretty cool. They sold out of nearly everything! The cool/liquid powder from Dr. Facilier is really awesome and is $29.50. The nail polishes are super awesome and the French Quarter Grease Paint stick is black with pretty gold/copper glitter. I was hoping for more fun colors, but they really are more toned down than I expected, so I think many of you will be able to wear them everyday. Oh the mirror.. wasn’t worth it, but some of you may want it. It has Dr. Facilier on it and is just a compact mirror with magnifying and a regular mirror. Nothing fancy and a bit pricy. They told me everything comes out on the 30th, Enjoy!
