Smashbox Nude Lip Gloss from Naked Beauty 2010 Summer Collection – Review, Photos, Lip Swatches

It’s about time I should get back to my reviews and since I have a lot of lip products to review I thought I should finish reviewing those from Naked Beauty 2010 Lip Gloss Collection which is part of the Naked Beauty makeup collection for summer 2010.

Smashbox Naked Beauty Lip Gloss collection contains 8 mini glosses in beautiful natural shades and I reviewed 4 of them a while ago:

• Buff Lip Gloss – sheer soft peach (review)
• Sunkissed Lip Gloss – shimmering golden brown (review)
• Exposed Lip Gloss – bubblegum pink (review)
• Bare Lip Gloss – sandwashed pink (review)

Today I’m gonna review Nude Lip Gloss which is a creamy nude shade, more like a coral nude brown with a natural shine. As I said before if you like natural colors on your lips then you should go for this collection because you will find some pretty nice shades and they will look great especially if you choose to have a smoky eye makeup where natural lips are a must, but then again if you are looking fore pigmented, bright colors this collection is not for you.

Nude Lip Gloss is actually a mini lip gloss and contains 1.40 ml of product the same as the other colors. You can purchase the entire Naked Beauty Lip Gloss collection @Smashbox for $ 25.00. The great part is that you can try so many shades at this price and I even like the mini size tube because it’s perfect when I take my small purse so it won’t take up a lot of space or you can just take the hole lip gloss collection if you are wearing a bigger bag. The downside is that you won’t get to apply the color to many times, it’s still a small size lip gloss tube, but I’ve applied it for about 6 times and there is still some product left inside the tube.

The texture is creamy, it doesn’t feel sticky at all, maybe because it doesn’t contain shimmering particles and lasts quite well on the lips.

Even though the brush is very small, it gives a good application and spreads the gloss very nicely on the lips.

As natural as the color may seems I still like it and I prefer using more natural colors during day time or maybe it’s just something about me this summer that makes me wanna adopt a more natural look. Nude Lip Gloss gave my lips a natural shine and moisture. Every lip gloss has a fine sweet scent.
