I’ve been busy testing a lot of nail polish colors lately and my poor nails are starting to ask for a break, or a well deserved vacation. I have only two more nail polishes to test and then I will take a break and simply wear some base coat for a while.
Now I want to present to you Towel Boy Toy nail polish from Poolside Summer 2010 Collection by China Glaze. This is the third nail color I’ve got from this collection and if you are into bright shades you might just wanna try this one.
Towel Boy Toy nail polish
It’s a vibrant blue color, not really neon but I’ve notices some fine shimmering particles inside. As I just said I have only 3 colors from this collection but Towel Boy Toy has the best application from all 3 of them so far. I’ve applied 2 coats and I can say the application went great on this color.
I’m not really into such a bright shades but I guess this is just a happy summer color. The polish dries so fast and this is one of the things I like about it. After 2 coats there were no streaks or uneven color. Because the color has a matte finish I wanted to apply a shiny top coat just to see which one I like better.

Towel Boy Toy 5 days later
From experience I know that neon nail polishes don’t last long especially on natural nails so prepare to see the next photo where I’ve used top coat on my nails.
Towel Boy Toy nail polish + top coat – after 5 days
It’s obvious that this color is not to be kept on nails for so many days, even though you are using a top coat. After the second day the polish started to chipped so then was good time to change the color.

Well the result is pretty much the same but considering that I haven’t used any help on these nails I can say it’s much better then the previous photo.
One thing about the nail polishes from this collection is that they are drying very fast so even though they chip in only 2 days you can always apply a new color because you won’t have to wait more than 1 min until the color dries.
Have you bought any nail polish from this collection or are you going to?
