Hello my dear readers,
Today I will review the newest Max Factor Lip Gloss called Vibrant Curve Effect. In one of my previous posts I’ve wrote about all the 10 new beautiful shades of lip gloss that will be released by Max Factor in April 2010. Lip glosses have been back on the catwalks for the last couple of seasons and because I’m such a fan of lip glosses I’m very happy to hear that.

If you are interested in seeing the other new colors of lipglosses check out my presentation post right here.
I’m going to start by saying the price is £ 7.99 and the shade that I’ve got is 06 Vibrant. It’s a nice pale peachy shade with a few shimmery particles in it’s texture, as you can see from this close up photo.

It looks sheer on the lips and I like it because it gives me a natural look, but you can also use it on top of a lipstick to make it shine and create that water effect look. The shade looks more like a soft coral in the tube and it would have been nice to look the same on the lips, so if you are looking for coral shades this spring remember that this one is more like a natural sheer coral shade.

This lip gloss has a ShineSculpt applicator in a new shape so the base of the wand can glide smoothly over lips, while the tapered can give precision from corner to corner. It’s really a special wand from what I’ve seen and tried so far because it holds more gloss which is released evenly across the lip as it glides.

I like the ShineSculp applicator because I don’t use lip glosses that have a brush applicator with bristles that don’t give such a precise application and sometimes they leave lines and trey are drawn from the brush so the brush becomes thinner.

I like this lip gloss because of its non sticky texture and that super shine and water effect that gives to the lips making them look natural in the same time. It has a really nice discreet smell of watermelon and this is also a plus for this lip gloss. When a lip product smells like paint or chemical ingredients I don’t want to wear it even if the color is pretty.
Check out the next photos I took because I wanted you to see how my bare lips looked like and how they look right after I applied the Vibrant Curve Effect lip gloss.

I’ve only been using this lip gloss for a few days so I don’t really know how much it’s going to last but I doubt that you can use it for a long period of time because the tube is kind of small and doesn’t have so much product inside. For me it’s OK because I own only lipglosses and I change them very often.
I hope my review was helpful for you and if you have any questions please let me know. I would also like to hear your opinion since I know this product is already available in some countries.

Thanks for the review, it looks so pretty and shiny on you! It’s a shame it isn’t very pigmented but I think it’d look great on top of a coral lipstick.

Hi Gio! I’m glad you enjoyed the review. Well yeah it would go great with a coral, orange or peachy lipstick, the fact is that I’m not into those colors, as you already now.
