Hi Girls!
How about we take a closer look at the Pure Petunia nail polish? This new color is part of the Orly Bloom Spring I 2010 Collection that I wrote about a while ago.
Here you can see swatches from the nail polishes included in this collection and find out more information.
Pure Petunia is a sweet mauve purple creme, very pigmented and elegant in the same time. This is my favorite color from the whole collection. I really love the contrast between my white skin and this vibrant nail polish and I think it’s really suitable for all those ladies out there with brighter skin.
Pure Petunia captures the color or nature, in this case the beautiful Petunia flower and brings that bold color right onto your nails.
The entire collection is already available and the price of each nail polish is $7.50.
The texture is fluid, very fresh and it’s easy to apply. Being such a strong color and because of its good texture I only need 1 layer of nail polish. It takes only a few minutes to dry and it doesn’t leave any lines, the coverage is perfect but of course if you prefer you can add a second layer of nail polish.
I didn’t even wanted to add a top coat because the color was shining on its own and this way I can test it to see if it’s chip resistant.
Pure Petunia 4 days later
Well girls what do you think? The photo speaks for itself doesn’t it?
With only 1 layer of nail polish, no top coat and it managed to look like this after 4 days. My nails are natural. I think you know that nail polishes tend to be not so resistant on natural nails, like they are on fake nails. Last year I’ve been wearing fake nails for more than 3 months and my nail polishes seemed to last forever, the color was beautiful and they looked like new even after 2 weeks.
I think this says a lot about Orly products when I can see it lasted so beautifully after 4 days. If I would have applied 2 layers or probably a top coat I’m sure the result would have been even better.
Let me know what you think about this review and which color you like the most from Orly Bloom Spring I Collection.
