Hi girls,

I’m going to review Lollipop nail polish one of the 6 beautiful colors from Sweet Spring II Collection for 2010 from Orly.

The Sweet Spring collection incorporates spring’s feminine pastels by adding a milky white opaque tone to baby pinks, blues, purples, yellows and greens.

Lollipop nail polish, the sames as the other 5 nailĀ  polishes comes with a free matching flavored mini lip gloss key chain. It’s a beautiful pastel purple cream color, ideal for your look in this upcoming spring.

This is one of the nail polishes with a creamy texture which sometimes can create problems during the application. I love the color don’t get me wrong but the application is a little bit more difficult, because polishes with creamy textures can leave lines. They are very pigmented indeed and you can see the vibrant color right after the first layer of polish but to even the color you need to apply the second layer.

Lollipop nail polish – no top coat

You can see the result in these pictures. I haven’t added any top coat so I can make the test and convince myself if it’s chip resistant or not.

Lollipop Lip gloss is sheer but has purple reflexes and what I love about it is the fact that is non sticky and smells wonderful.

All nail polishes from the Sweet Collection will be available beginning April 2010 for $7.50 each.

Lollipop 5 days later

I knew from the beginning that this is not going to be so chip resistant as the others because of it’s creamy pasty texture. If I added a layer of top coat I’m sure things would look much better but hereĀ  is the naked truth.

I’m not interested only in the color and talking only about my first impressions when I review a nail polish. I’m also interested to see if it’s really chip resistant or not and that’s why I must leave it on my nail at least 4 days.

Lollipop after 5 days – no top coat

If you don’t mind to change your polish after 2-3 days and if you will add a layer of top coat I’m sure the result would be different. I tend to use my hands a lot in the kitchen so the hot water is not really a friend for my nails. icon smile ORLY Lollipop Nail Polish from the Sweet 2010 Spring II Collection Review + Swatches
