Hi everyone,
Today I will review Ginger Lily nail polish, one of the six beautiful nail lacquers from Orly Bloom Spring I 2010 Collection.

If you’ll choose Ginger Lily you must know it’s a fiery color with a little bit tendency towards metallic shades. This burnt orange shimmer is one of the classy colors that can look great on any type of skin.
I can’t say it’s my favorite color of this collection because I prefer pastel color or very vibrant pink lacquers.
I’ve applied the nail polish without any problems, texture is light and the perfect brush makes the polish to glide easily on the nail. Two coats of nail polish were enough to get the final look.

2 coats of Ginger Lily
I haven’t applied any top coat because the color is a little bit shimmery and those metallic reflects pop up the color. I would recommend the using top coat only if you want to keep this nail polish on your nails for more than 5 days.
Ginger Lily after 5 days

Ginger Lily – no top coat – 5 days later
Although I’m not so into this color I must say it’s a chip resistant nail polish. Just look at the photo and words are useless. These are my natural nails and I lacquer that can resist for so many days gets my entire appreciation.
The color is still vibrant and in spite of all the dishes that I’ve washed it’s still looking great.
Way to go Ginger Lily, you are indeed a chip resistant nail polish.

5 days and still looks that great? That’s a keeper
Hi! Well yeah, is that resistant. That’s why I always take photos before and after. All nail polishes may look good at first but I’m really interested in those who are going to last more then 2-3 days
5 days???! What did you say to that poor laquer?
I love this color, it’s like you say: Fits almost every skin tone. Orly Polishes are really resistant, but I’ve never had it on for so many days. I’m planning to do a test on my blog on this issue.
Hi! I did what I always do, typing on my pc 12 h a day, washing dishes, hot showers, some cleaning and as you can see this is the result. Most of Orly nail lacquers last very good for 4 days
. Now I have on my nails Lolipop and Snowcone for 2 days and they are great.
It’s a nice shade, but like you I prefer pink polishes. But 5 days? wow, that’s very resistant!
Hi Gio! Sometimes I wish that my favorite colors would so resistant like this one.
That is just fantastic. Can’t wait to do my chip test now.
I’m curious how it will work for you. Let me know
I think I’ll try these. Somehow I always skip on Orly polishes, simply because I don’t like the design of their bottles (I know, ridiculous reason, lol) but if they last so long – they’re worth getting.
Hi! I really like their bottle design, actually I have something against OPI bottles
). So I understand you, just fine. Orly nail polishes always seemed chip resistant to me, but not the pasty and creamy textures.
