Hi girls,

Today I’m going to review Blushing Bud nail polish which is one of my favorite colors from the Bloom Spring I Collection for 2010.

As many of you know by now I’m a fan of pink and purple colors and any combination that contains some sort of pink shade gets my attention.

Blushing Bud is a feminine color inspired by the colors of nature straight from the garden. This pink creme shade is very pigmented and creates a beautiful contrast if it’s going to be applied on somebody with lighter skin color.

In my opinion this is a mixture of colors between fuchsia, wine color and pink. The texture is perfect and with only one layer of polish you can set the beautiful color right on your nails.

Blushing Bud – no top coat

When I’ve made the preview post about Bloom Spring I Collection I applied only 1 layer of nail polish. Now I’ve applied two layers so you can see the difference is almost unnoticeable. As I told you before the texture is so fluid that the brush will glide without problems on your nails leaving a perfect vibrant color whiteout any lines.

I didn’t applied any base or top coat so you can see the real color. It shines all by itself and I’m just in love with this spring vibrant color. icon smile Orly Blushing Bud Nail Polish from the Bloom Spring I 2010 Collection Review + Swatches

Blushing Bud 5 days later

As you already know, I always make pictures after a few days of wearing the nail polish so you can see the result. Most of Orly’s nail polish are chip resistant. The only ones that I’ve noticed to chip after 3-4 days were the ones with a pasty and more concentrate texture.

I know many of you change your nail polish after 3 days but if I like the color I want to keep it on my nails for more then 3 days. This time I was a Blushing Bud for 5 days and this is the result.

Blushing Bud – 5 days later – no top coat

I wanted to add a top coat, but I was really curious about how much is going to last on its own. Before I used to make this test: on my right hand nails I applied top coat while on my left hand nails I left the color without top coat. Honestly I would loved to make this test again but my right hand was busy with Ginger Lily. icon smile Orly Blushing Bud Nail Polish from the Bloom Spring I 2010 Collection Review + Swatches

Compared to Ginger Lily this didn’t resist so well but I still think it looks OK.

Let me know what you guys think about my review and if you like this color. icon smile Orly Blushing Bud Nail Polish from the Bloom Spring I 2010 Collection Review + Swatches
