Hi everyone,
today’s Smokey Eye Chic Makeup is inspired by Illamasqua’s Android Pure Pigment. As I promised in the review of the Android Pure Pigment here is one of my favorite’s eye makeup looks.
I’ve done this look last week together with another one in pink eyeshadows that I hope to post it soon. I’ve been so lazy lately most of it because of the weather outside and these cold temperatures but I really hope to finish with this phase and post the other smokey eye makeup look (I’ve already took photos) in the next few days.
This is what I came up with and I hope you guys will like it. Let me know what you think about it (I’m not so talented I know that) in the comments bellow.
If you like this makeup you can use your own eyeshadows similar with the colors that I’ve used but I would definitely recommend using a primer before applying your eyeshadow if you want this look to last all day and not crease on you.
Products used for this look:
- Too Faced Shadow Insurance
- Too Faced Smoky Eye Palette – Cream, Fawn and Bronze Eyeshadow
- Illamasqua Android Pure Pigment
- Sephora Kohl Pencil in Black
- Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
How to:
- First step is too use a good eyeshadow primer. My favorite is the Shadow Insurance from Too Faced but if you like you can use Urban Decay Primer Potion or even the New Primer Potion in Eden.
- Then I got in with the Fawn Eyeshadow and a flat stiff brush ( if you have MAC it’s great) and I pat it all over the lid.
- Then you wanna take a stiff down brush (217 MAC will be great) and soften the edges with Cream eyeshadow.
- I’ve applied Bronze eyeshadow in the outer corner in a V shape and swiping it under the brow bone and make sure there are no harsh lines. I’ve also smudged the color under my eye but I didn’t go all the wayas you can see from the photo.
- The ultimate touch is the Android Pure Pigment that it’s applied a little bit on the crease almost in a V shape. Be sure to blended very well around the corners and at the end just pat it one time so the shimmer can stay on your lids.
- This step it’s optional but I chose to line my upper and lower lid with Sephora Black Kohl Pencil.
- I’ve finished the makeup with Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.
Because this makeup it really intensifies your eyes you want to keep the rest of the face neutral so chose your lipgloss in a nude shade and don’t over do it with the blush.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my look!

Pretty! But I’m drawn to the color of your eyes. Gorgeous
Thanks! I can say that my eyes are maybe the only thing that I like about myself
This looks beautiful Tavia, well done! You have beautiful eyes
Hi Gio! Thanks for your nice words and I’m happy that you enjoyed my makeup. I don’t post so many makeups like you do, because I’m more lazy….but I’m trying
Wow, this is great! I love how you’ve blended it so it’s not blended away (like I usually do), but there’s still no harsh edges. It looks wonderful on you!
Hi Pinch! I’m glad that you like this look. I hope to post another one tomorrow
