This was the coldest week from my entire life. In my country snows every winter but we haven’t had such low temperatures ( -35 degrees Celsius) in more than 25 years. Because of the cold weather I was feeling lazy all week. Only when I looked at the window and see the weather, snow and cold wind I didn’t felt like going outside.
I’ve been reading lots of articles this week, but I’m not going to mention them all because this post would not be enough.
These were my favorite articles of the week:
Smoky Eyes: Tarnished Gold with Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette – Temptalia
Gavin Bond shoot an entire PinUp Editorial for GQ UK magazine for this February. I have to say that Gavin is an amazing photographer and if you don’t know his work yet you can check it out here.
But this is not the only reason that I’m writing this post. The main reason is that I felt in love with these blue platforms from the moment I laid my eyes on this photo. I’m crazy about platforms and shoes with high heels but strange, modern and sexy style.
Maybe you won’t agree with me on this, but I simply love them. I didn’t worn any blue shoes but I would definitely buy these ones and find something to accessorize them with. I haven’t seen anything similar with these platforms here so if you have any idea where I can find them, please let me know.
Makeup Factory is going to launch their new Spring collection, Nautical Style in the beginning of February 2010. The new collection is dedicated to a woman with an active lifestyle. The products have warm bronze tones, maritime and fresh blue, coral shades.
Nautical Style collection will be available exclusively at Muller perfumeries.
Just the other day I wrote about those beautiful spring eyeshadows created by Paul & Joe and it’s time for the entire info about the new makeup collection for Spring 2010.
Take a look at these funny photos and let me know what you think about this collection. Are you going to buy something?
We haven’t yet got to see all the MAC Makeup Collections for Spring, cause new info about about a MAC Summer Collection is already here.
As you can see from this photo, which is the most discussed subject of the day, the new makeup collection is based on colorful coral shades. Are you into coral shades? Well if you are not, you’d better get used to them, because this Spring / Summer season most of the collections are based on coral and peachy shades.
If MAC will keep launching collection after collection like it did last year and I won’t be able to keep up with the information and photos, how about the products from all these collection? Really, girls is there anyone out there who’s buying something from every collection?
Are you a true fan of MAC Cosmetics or are you getting ready to say Goodbye MAC ?
Not long ago I wrote a post about Isadora Wonder Nail a beautiful nail polish collection for spring that contained 3 vibrant colors. The Wonder Nail collection is part of the Nostalgia Makeup Collection for Spring 2010 by Isadora.
Nostalgia collection was inspired by the glamorous style of the ’50s and ’60s, by the hair styling and makeup of the most famous divas in that period: Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe.
The entire collection is available exclusively at Douglas and contains:
My experience with La Mer The Oil Absorbing Lotion began in December last year when I first start using it in combination with Oil Absorbing Tonic (review here).
These two products should win the Oscar for the best couple of the year for beauty products.
You can read all about the ingredients contained in this lotion and what I’ve experienced when I first used it, here in my preview.
What makes it my favorite face lotion is that it’s oil-free, oil-absorbing fast-penetrating formulation that hydrates, yet leaves a soft matte finish for hours – perfect for normal-to-oily and oily skins (like mine). If you are using it along with the Oil Absorbing Tonic (200ml for $60.00) you will forget about an oily complexion in no time.
I’ve been struggling with sebum excess for years and although I’ve tried lighter creams that promised to keep my oiliness under control I could never find the right combination for my complexion.
Just to let you know, The Oil Absorbing Lotion is a lighter version of Creme de la Mer which I’ve also enjoyed using, so you will find the in this lotion the same ingredients that are contained in Creme de la Mer.
I have to admit I like the lighter version better, because the texture is lighter, non-greasy, smoother and faster absorbed by my skin. As La Mer says ” the texture provides freedom of choice for those who desire Creme de la Mer in lotion form for times when a creme may be too rich”. As I promised in the preview that I did a few weeks ago, I’ve returned with a full review and my honest opinion about La Mer The Oil Absorbing Tonic.
I mentioned in my preview that I have an oily skin complexion. This tonic is not only for women with oily skin like me, so anyone who has combination to oily skin can use this product.
I don’t know where to begin because the Oil Absorbing Tonic has so much to offer and I have a lot to say about it. The review I’m going to make today is based only on my experience with this product in the winter time. I’ve read some other reviews about women who have used it during summer and there were another great effects. A long story short, these women were living in a very hot climate or with very high humidity and the Oil Absorbing Tonic stopped the appearance of the oil on their complexions.
Another Spring Collection comes from Color Club and it’s called Rebel Debutante. The new collection seems to contain among those nude creamy shades the color of the season, Mint Green.
Why the collection is named Rebel Debutante? Because…
Rebel Debutante a new spin on classic color! Rebel Debutante the latest collection from Color Club is made for the girl who likes the finer things!
