Christmas is a special time for everyone of us, and we all want to look our best, especially if we spend Christmas evening with family, friends or going to a fancy party.
But how do we choose the perfect dress for such a special evening? For thoseĀ who have a perfect body this should not be a problem, but not all women are the same. So I’m thinking how to work those curves this Christmas.
Those of us who have big boobs should avoid anything with a high neck as your chin will look like an extension of your boobs – and trust me that is not a great look.
Bravissimo clothes are cut especially to fit and flatter bigger boobs. Give them your dress and bust size to get the perfect fit. Invest in a good bra so it lifts and supports – you’ll be surprised at how this alone will change your shape and posture.
Avoid spaghetti straps as these will just make your bust look even bigger. Thicker straps are better and provide more support.
If you are among the women with curvy thighs my advice will be body toners because they suck you in and help you instantly lose inches from your bum and thighs. Check out Aristoc’s new range, which looks more like sexy underwear than thigh-slimming control pants.
Don’t be put off by this season’s shorter styles – just add trusty opaque black tights and killer heels and you’ll look fabulous.
A-line skirts are a great way to disguise chunky legs. Be aware of the skirt length too -knee length is the most flattering and least frumpy. Use color on your top to divert attention from your problem area.
If you have strong arms the advice will be, do not wear sheer and ultra-clingy fabrics because the
y enhance thickĀ arms. Try to avoid strapless dresses – they draw attention to exactly where you don’t want it. Short – sleeved numbers or even three – quarter sleeve frocks are much more flattering for larger arms.
Never forget that wardrobe staple – the shrug. Perfect for covering up those arms and adding a certain je ne sais quoi’ to any outfit.
Stick to darker, flattering shades for tops or dresses. Light pinks or wishy – washy nudes simply emphasise bingo wings further.
