If you have fairly short, baby-fine hair and you can never think of anything to do with it I found some ideas that maybe will help you get a new look without changing so much.
Dry shampoo
One easy way to transform short hair is to give it lots of extra height and add some pretty hair slides. But to give it a really funky edge, try adding some dry shampoo, which creates a tough, dusty texture and helps hold your style too.
How to do it:
- Prep damp hair with a volumising spray, like L’Oreal Professionel Tecni art Volume Architect. Avoid mousse – it can make fine hair straw-like.
- Blow-dry using a large, round brush, lifting the hair vertically and directing the air at the roots to give lots of volume.
- Shake dry shampoo such as Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Dust-it, into your palms and rub it into your roots. Use your hands to push and sculpt your hair into shape, lifting it higher.
- Haphazardly add some Claire’s Hairpins, to catch the light. Finish by misting your style with hairspray.
